Rev. Scott G. Chase
Scott Chase grew up on the South Shore and moved to Amesbury in 2010 after living several years in Florida. He joined Union Congregational Church in 2012 and has served as deacon, lay minister and, since January 2023, as pastor. A graduate of Bangor Theological Seminary and Boston University School of Theology, he is currently completing a PhD in Religious Studies at BU.
Scott and his wife Andrea, a special education teacher, have three sons, Timothy (24), Patrick (19) and Stephen (18).
Deacon Bob Labadini
Bob became a member of the Union Congregational Church in 2009. In 2011 Bob was installed as a deacon of the church. He has also served as assistant treasurer and is currently serving as our church council's moderator.
Bob has also been appointed as a member of the Executive Council of the
Massachusetts Association of Congregational Christian Churches

Bob was a newcomer to Protestantism in 2009 and has stated that, after Worshipping with us on several Sundays, his predominant reason for becoming a church member was the “sense of true fellowship” he felt being among the congregation.

Deacon Laurie Kulik
As a native of the Point Shore, Amesbury, MA, she was brought up in the Union Congregational Church from childhood. Her parents were both active members of the council, deaconate and attended many events. As an adult, Laurie affirmed her membership in 2000 becoming a deacon and the recording clerk of the council.

"I enjoy volunteering at the spaghetti suppers and the annual holiday fair.
My affiliation and faith with my church and the NACCC is profound".
Dave Knight
Church Treasurer
I am proud to say that I have been the treasurer of the Union Congregational Church in Amesbury since 2011. During those years the church has successfully faced many challenges that is testament to the strength, wisdom and creativity of the members and the friends of the church. It has been a privilege to be associated with such a wonderful group of people.

I have extensive experience in providing financial services for commercial and residential real estate management firms. I have been happy to lend my skills and experience in collaboration with the church Council to help navigate the congregation thru some difficult times.
